Medical Editorial & Supplement Standards

VitaminMD is founded by David Nazarian, MD, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Health and supplement content on this website is created or medically reviewed with an emphasis on accuracy, appropriate context, and practical nutrition education.

How We Review Health Content

We prioritize authoritative sources such as the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, peer-reviewed medical literature, and established clinical guidance. We distinguish well-established evidence from emerging or limited research and update material when important evidence or regulatory guidance changes.

How We Describe Supplements

VitaminMD aims to use truthful, non-misleading language and to distinguish normal structure/function support from claims about diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing disease. Product information should be read together with the current Supplement Facts label and ingredient list.
